To increase the frequency range in which they're able to operate, these transformers use a planar design that makes them especially well-suited for high-frequency applications such as telecommunications. The planar design replaces traditional copper wire with a printed circuit board winding and a stamped copper sheet that uses a low-profile ferrite core. The result is a gain in power density and repeatability. The 200W transformer is 0.55" high and lighter than equivalent rated conventional transformers. Units are available at 45W, 100W, 150W, 200W, 250W, 300W, 500W, 750W, 1000W, 1500W and 2500W with typical efficiency of 97%.
