The latest release of the firm's pc board design products features major integration and productivity enhancements, a new flow migration service for users of Mentor Graphics' Board Station, and an expanded free SPECCTRA upgrade program that includes owners of PADS' PowerPCB tool.The firm's Allegro for pc board layout software now offers full integration with OrCAD's Capture CIS (component information system) design-entry software. In addition, the SPECCTRA autorouter is fully integrated with OrCAD Layout.In addition, there's new integration between the firm's SPECCTRAQuest interconnect designer and Mentor Graphics' Board Station tool. This enables use of Board Station with the SPECCTRAQuest virtual interconnect prototyping tool without disrupting existing design flows. The Cadence PCB Expert Series is supported on Windows NT and Unix-based workstations.
