The six additions made to the CarrollTouch family of infrared (IrD) touch-technology products include: a USB controller board, three low-profile touch-screens, a vandal-resistant glass filter, and a controller chipset. The 4000U controller provides users with a USB interface to the host PC with a resolution of 4,096 x 4,096. The three touch-screens come in standard sizes of 10.4", 15" and 17", but are slimmer than other standard-size screens in the line. They provide a high optical beam density of 22 points/inch. The tempered-glass filter measures 6 mm thick and is suitable for use in rugged environments. For more details, call Nadia Vandeweyer at ELO TOUCHSYSTEMS, Kessel-Lo, Belgium. +32 16 35 2125.
