cPCI CPU Board Delivers PIII Performance And Wide Bandwidth

Occupying a single CompactPCI slot in a 6U footprint, the IBC 2602 peripheral master CPU board promises to deliver the performance and bandwidth required by telecomm, Internet and industrial control applications. Using the Intel 440BX chipset, the board supports Mobile Intel Pentium III processors operating at up to 700 MHz and up to 512 MB of SDRAM and 128 MB of CompactFlash.
Additional features include dual 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet interfaces, PMC expansion, and an AGP port. Peripheral and I/O features include Ultra DMA IDE support and USB, RS-232, parallel, mouse and keyboard ports. On-board monitoring and configuration functions include serial port console redirection, a battery-backed real-time clock, CPU temperature monitor, and watchdog timer. For applications or development that require an IDE drive, a mezzanine IDE board is available. Supplied with a 500MHz Pentium III and 128 MB of SDRAM, the IBC 2602 CPU board is priced starting at $1,998.
