Header With Fine-Pitch Tail Lends Flexibility To Board Layouts

Sept. 1, 1998

The Fine Line tail of the 0.050" elevated shrouded header series fits a plated through-hole diameter of 0.018", allowing greater flexibility in circuit board layouts. The Fine Line tail is also said to be well suited for use with intrusive reflow solder techniques, displacing less solder paste than conventional tail sizes. The headers are available in both 0.050" x 0.050" (MPLF Series) and 0.050" x 0.100" (MPLH) pin patterns.
