High Speed Board Designed For CPCI Bus

Dec. 1, 2001

An ultra high speed, analog input board for CPCI bus computers gives high-speed data acquisition performance using four 12-bit analog inputs with sample rates up to 20 MHz. Each input channel has an independent analog-to-digital converter letting the board sample all four inputs simultaneously at the full 20 MHz. The CPCI-DAS4020/12 is completely plug-and-play. There are no switches, jumpers or potentiometers on the board. All board addresses, interrupt channels are set by a computer's software. The calibration is performed via software by using on-board digital potentiometers and trim digital-to-analog converters. The board has ±1V and ±5V input ranges and is fully auto- and self-calibrating. Other features include a system timing controller chip to control all A/D/ sampling as well as controlling the 128K-sample A/D first in first out (FIFO) buffer. Priced at $1,399.
