Current Sensors Measure Up To 100A

March 1, 1999

Designed for board mounting, the EX9P Series current-to-voltage sensors come in window sizes from 0.15" to 0.56" and will measure ac currents up to 100A, 47 to 400 Hz. The current-carrying conductor passes through the sensor window without making direct electrical contact, producing an electrically isolated voltage output that's proportional to current in the sensor coil. The voltage output is linear and can be easily modified by changing the user-supplied load resistor value. Applications include current measurement and control, power demand measurements, load sensing, current signature of motors, monitoring of process parameters, lamp and heater status, power failure, loss of device and so on.
