Space-Saving Tantalum Capacitors Replace Up To Four Lesser-CV Devices

Claiming to save valuable pc board space by replacing three to four lesser CV devices are enhanced 1000-µF and 1500-µF tantalum capacitors. The components are particularly useful in advanced cellular phone designs, especially those for the international GSM standard for wireless communications. The new 1000-µF, 6V capacitors have ESRs of less than 30 milliohms, combined with what's claimed as the largest capacitance/voltage combination in the industry.
