Addressing space and weight concerns, the Series 422E9x miniature, in-line charge converters are suitable for use with charge output piezoelectric accelerometers plus force/pressure sensors. The converters derive power via standard ICP sensor-signal conditioners. Models 422E91, 422E92, and 422E93 offer standard conversion sensitivities of 0.1 mV/pC, 1 mV/pC, and 10 mV/pC, respectively, and each operates with frequencies from 1.5 Hz to 50 kHz. They come in 6.4-mm diameter stainless steel housings, measure 40 mm in length, and employ 10 to 32 coaxial I/O connectors. A TEDS option permits channel identification, sensitivity interrogation, and coordinate location information to be stored in an on-board memory circuit, recallable via a simple command.
