Remote-Control Board Drives Up LED Intensity/Color

Forecasting unique possibilities for low-power lighting design, the TPS62260LED remote-control board teams with the eZ430-RF2500 development tool to provide a complete platform for color-lighting applications. The TPS62260LED board controls the color and brightness of a lamp or runs an automatic color light animation program. Users generate color with three OSRAM high-brightness LEDs (red, green, and blue) and an MSP430F2131 microcontroller controls the brightness of each LED with constant current generated by three TPS62260 LED drivers.
