A new dual-core processor 6U CompactPCI single board computer from Concurrent Technologies uses the latest mobile dual-core processors from the Intel embedded roadmap. The processors range from the 1.5 GHz to the 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo device.

The PP 402/04x SBC is suited to low-power processing applications, where the dual-processor cores can access up to 4 Gbytes on board DDR2 SDRAM. The board also supports a 100MHz PCI-X PMC site (plus rear I/O) and PICMG 2.16 Gigabit Ethernet. It can operate in a system slot, peripheral slot, or as a blade. A range of extended temperature options are available, too.
