Right-Angle Socket Serves Up Test Points

Primarily used as test points, these sockets were designed as discrete side-entry receptacles for mounting on pc boards. They come in three sizes that accept 1-, 1.5- and 2-mm diameter pins or test probes.The pins are precision machined and the insulators are molded from high-temp polyester and come in 10 different colors. And press-fit into each pin receptacle is a low-force BeCu 6-finger contact offering high compliancy.
