The Tsi350, a 32-bit 66-MHz asynchronous PCI-to-PCI bridge, targets new designs or existing boards using standard PCI-to-PCI bridges. Fully compliant with PCI Local Bus Specification Revision 2.3, the device has sufficient clock and arbitration pins to support nine PCI bus master devices for a range of applications including communications and networking equipment, multi-function printers, imaging systems, and embedded video recorders. It provides 10 independent secondary clock outputs to the secondary slots, and the primary and secondary interfaces can be operated using asynchronous clocks. The secondary clock can either be derived from the input primary clock or supplied by an external clock source. Available in 208-PQFP and 256 PBGA packages, price is under $8 each/1,000.
