The ability to design high-density, low-power DSLAM circuit boards in an area of less than 2 square inches/port is afforded by the firm's reference design for G.lite ADSL (G.992.2) applications. And the reference design uses the firm's programmable DSL chipset and is a complete package containing a design guide, schematics, bill of materials and pc-board layout. The chipset is software-reconfigurable, enabling DSL equipment manufacturers to take advantage of its flexibility and high-end performance to optimize data rates, in turn enabling telecommunication service providers to offer G.lite services to an expanded customer base.
