With up to 32 Mbytes of RAM, 4.5 Mbytes of flash, AT compatibility and a host of on-board I/O, the SBC2486DX single-board computer is primed for many control applications. Based on the Intel 486DX 32-bit microprocessor, the card can run large applications without any mechanical disk drives for highly reliable real and protected mode operation from power-up. BIOS Boss and CMOS Setup, as well as the free DOS-compatible RUN.EXE operating system, are factory installed in flash memory. The board also can boot DOS, Windows and other PC-compatible operating systems. A broad complement of features includes 66- or 100-MHz CPU, on-board cache, hardware floating-point unit, AT-compatible interrupt, timer, DMA, keyboard and mouse controller, and more.
