CyBox8 is a rugged and versatile systems platform for industrial and machine control applications in harsh environments. Designed for use in operator consoles with flat panel displays, CyBox8 features a solid stainless steel enclosure and an intelligent environmental control system that ensures the safe operation of its processor and power supply in ambient temperatures up to 50°C. CyBox8 integrates directly into the operator console, and its cover enclosure may be hermetically sealed against the outside environment, enabling 24/7 maintenance-free operation without the need for air filters. Other features include two independent Ethernet interfaces to separate the machine and control networks, a 2.0 GHz Intel Celeron CPU, 256 MB SDRAM, a 40 GB hard drive, dual USB 2.0 ports, on-board 2D/3D video controller and AC'97 audio interface.
