SBC Provides Intelligent Protocol Interface

The company's Pentium II/III-based single-board computer (SBC) uses Artesyn's PM/T1-E1 PMC plug-in modules to provide an SS7, HDLC, or frame-relay protocol interface. This combination targets companies that develop wireless infrastructures, high-end voice-mail systems, and intelligent network systems. Features of the board include processor speeds up to 500 MHz, up to 144 MB of bootable flash memory, and up to 512 MB of SDRAM. The board supports Windows NT, Lynx, Linux, VxWorks, and other current applications.
