Employing an Intel Atom processor Z500 series and system controller hub US15W, the company's small form-factor embedded platform targets battery-operated handheld devices in the military, medical, and infotainment markets. Allegedly, it will be one of the smallest, fully-function systems available. Slightly larger than a credit card, the embedded system may be used as a stand-alone SBC or with an expansion board. Power supplies, battery charger, memory, wireless interfaces, SD slot, LCD interface, VGA video output, HDD interface, ExpressCard slot, and standard peripheral connectors are also on board. The small-form-factor platform will be available in the second half of this year.
