PC Card Functions As A Two-Axis Motion Controller

Sept. 1, 1999

The Mini-PMAC2 two-axis, PC-based motion controller provides the power of the original PMAC2, including fully digital, direct pulse-width-modulated control of power-block amplifiers for one- and two-axis applications. The Mini-PMAC2 card can be used in a PC ISA slot as a 2/3-sized board or it can be used standalone with serial RS-232 communications for set up and/or application control. The Mini-PMAC2 firmware, programs and variables are 100% compatible with other PMAC2 versions, and board has full PMAC2 motion and PLC program capability.
