CompactPCI Backplanes Suit Telecomm Apps

Dec. 1, 2000

Designed for telecommunication applications, the cCPI and H.110 backplanes combine standard architecture and high-frequency telecomm designs for 6U board heights and are available for various slot sizes. The two backplanes are similar except that the H.110 combines a 32/64-bit compatible cPCI bus with an embedded TDM bus. Also, it utilizes a 10-layer board, whereas the cCPI uses an eight-layer all-stripline design. The TDM bus extends to all slots except the system slot, allowing CPU feed-through I/O and segment bridging. Pricing starts at $660 with delivery from stock to six weeks ARO.
