A pair of PCI data-acquisition processor boards is optimized for 32-bit real-time processing in local or remote modes. The DAP 4000a boards acquire data with 14-bit resolution. They have onboard intelligence implemented as the firm’s DAPL 2000 32-bit, real-time multitasking RTOS that runs on an on-board processor. Users control the board from any Windows system containing it, or remotely from any other Windows system on the same network. The DAP 4000a/112 has 16 onboard analog inputs, two on-board analog outputs, 16 on-board digital inputs and 16 on-board digital outputs. The DAP 4000a/212 has the same features plus a high-channel-count option for input expansion. Either model can handle 66 analog outputs and 1024 digital outputs.
