Targeting the next generation of video surveillance applications, the DVMB-764 digital-video motherboard employs an Intel Q965 Core2 Duo/Quad Core platform and a 16-channel MPEG4 hardware encoding engine. It embeds four MPEG4 codecs and completely replaces PC-based DVR system structures, which traditionally combine motherboard and video capture cards. The board supports 16-channel video encoding at D1 resolution and a total of 480 fps. The hardware audio/video codecs integrate multiple functions such as real time preview, encoding, smart quad, motion detection, OSD, and video playback. The codecs generate multiple MPEG4 and MJPEG video streams for storage and raw video streams for video analysis. In addition to an on-board graphics engine and SATA RAID 6 support, the board supports an additional graphics card and hardware RAID card via a PCIe interface. ADVANTECH CORP., Irvine, CA.
