Fabricated for heavy-duty chores, the company’s bi-level, right-angle edgecard connectors are capable of withstanding 150°C on a continuous basis. As for temperature range, the connectors are made of a high-density dielectric material enabling them to operate in temperatures from -65°C to +150°C. They feature both primary and secondary engagement contact areas, with the secondary area recessed in the card slot. They also employ a 1.98-mm contact centerline spacing, which results in four rows with a 3.96-mm spacing. The UL/CUL approved series is backward compatible with legacy boards, accommodates a PCB thickness of 0.062", and is available with four to 90 contact positions. Additional features include an insulation resistance of 5 GΩ minimum at 125 Vdc and a current rating of 3A. Options include keying, customization, and lead-free versions. Prices range from $1.50 to $1.69 per contact pair in production quantities. SULLINS ELECTRONICS CORP., San Marcos, CA (888) 774-3100.
