Boards Control Motors In PCI, cPCI & PXI Systems

Feb. 1, 2000

The PCI-7344 and PXI-7344 modules control both servo and stepper motors in PCI, CompactPCI and PXI systems. The PCI-7324 closed-loop board controls stepper motors in PCI systems. All three are said to reduce costs by accelerating development of fatigue, burn-in and life-cycle tests. The 7344 motion controllers are dual-processor boards that directly control servo or stepper motors with industry-standard command signals. The four-axis controllers offer deterministic control on each axis. The 7324 unit controls up to four steppers and is compatible with the firmís advanced motion software.
