The SA12 hybrid PWM amplifier provides 22 kHz of useable bandwidth for motor and piezo applications involving rapid motion and heavy loads. The device features a 200-kHz switching frrequency that steps down to a bandwidth of 22 kHz.Continuous output current is 15A and pulse current is 20A. The SA12 operates on a single supply of from 16V to 200V and is capable of delivering up to 3 kW into the load with an efficiency of 97%.To lower its switching frequency, the SA12 can be used with external oscillators or it can be synchronized with multiple amplifiers. Other features include a 12-pin hermetic MO-127 package requiring only three square inches of board space and bulit-in thermal protection.
