POL Converters Stand In Line

Specifying efficiencies up to 95%, the NiQor series point-of-load (POL), non-isolated dc/dc converters deliver up to 16A of total output current in an industry standard single-in-line package (SIP). The NQ04 series modules accommodate standard input bus voltages of 3.3V and 5V while delivering 15A at fixed output voltages of 0.9V, 1V, 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V. Also available is a wide trim module that delivers up to 16A maximum and can be trimmed to any voltage from 0.75V to 3.6V via a single resistor. The modules employ synchronous rectification and a fixed switching frequency, said to responsible for their high efficiencies and for allowing full power with no derating at ambient temperatures up to 70°C under natural convection. The modules also include on-board input and output filtering and are available in SIPs measuring 50.8 mm x 14 mm x 7.4 mm, configurable in either vertical or horizontal positions.
