While protecting equipment from ground faults, the RCD300M2 differential current relay employs a unique technology that provides sensitive protection while avoiding nuisance trips and unnecessary equipment shutdowns. It also provides functions for automated monitoring and control in power distribution panels, switchboard installations, municipal utilities, elevators, construction sites, and similar applications. Other features include an adjustable time delay from 0 to 1.5s, fault indicator LEDs, and a signal output capable of driving either a remote meter or PLC. Specs include an adjustable trip setting from10 mA to 3A, supply voltages of 24V AC/DC or 120 Vac from 50 to 60 Hz, and two Form C alarm relay contacts with a 1.1 kVA switching capacity (closure), 5A continuous-current rating, and a 250V rating.
