Ground-Fault Relay Avoids Nuisance Trips

While protecting equipment from ground faults, the RCD300M2 differential current relay employs a unique technology that provides sensitive protection while avoiding nuisance trips and unnecessary equipment shutdowns. It also provides functions for automated monitoring and control in power distribution panels, switchboard installations, municipal utilities, elevators, construction sites, and similar applications. Other features include an adjustable time delay from 0 to 1.5s, fault indicator LEDs, and a signal output capable of driving either a remote meter or PLC.
