Design Bundle Covers All The Bases For EDA

April 1, 2001

Designed to cover a wide base of electronic design automation (EDA) tool users, the McCAD EDS-3 design bundle is available for both Windows 95/98/NT/2000 and Macintosh operating systems. The bundle is an integrated, bi-directional design environment in which users can input their designs and then output complete fabrication documents as needed.
Integrated features include schematic capture, a printed circuit board (PCB) layout editor, tracker and autorouter, and a Gerber translator. To take this application for a test drive, a McCAD EDS Lite version can be downloaded for free at the company’s web site (see above).
The full bundle is priced at $2,195 with special discounts available for users who order both Windows and Macintosh versions.
