PC/104 Module Provides 16 Analog Outputs

Aug. 1, 1998

Designed for PC/104 embedded computer systems, Ruby-MM-1612 board offers 16 12-bit resolution analog voltage outputs with output resolution of 0.6 mV over a 0V to 2.5V output range. Each output is capable of driving or sinking up to 5 mA. All outputs are fully calibrated for minimum accuracy of ±1 LSB over the entire output range. The outputs are organized in two banks of 8 channels, with each bank having a separate output range of 0V to 2.5V, 0V to 5V, 0V to 10V, ±2.5V, ±5V or ±10V. The integrated bus interface and controller IC provide 16 digital I/O points for auxiliary control and monitoring functions. Inputs are connected to 10 kiloohm pull-up resistors and outputs are reset to 0V on power-up. The board operates from a single 5V supply, and all analog supplies are generated on-board.
