Adapters Have DIP Top And PLCC Bottom

Feb. 1, 1999

Providing a means of converting Intel and other DIP devices or emulators to a PLCC device socket, the Correct-A-Chip Adapter has a DIP top and socketable PLCC bottom. This DIP-to-PLCC adapter/emulator interface connects a 40-pin DIP device to a 44-pin PLCC. Thus, the jumperable adapter lets users use various 80CXX µPs and other ICs on DIP formats to convert to PLCC pinouts without having to implement expensive board re-designs. Suited for troubleshooting and debugging, the adapter brings all DIP pins to the side of the adapter's plated-through holes for access.
