Four 16-bit, 200-kHz, simultaneously sampled A/D converters, each offering >90 dB spurious-free dynamic range and 86 dB signal-to-noise ratio, are among the key features helping qualify the CPCI-16-4B CompactPCI card for use in frequency domain

Four 16-bit, 200-kHz, simultaneously sampled A/D converters, each offering >90 dB spurious-free dynamic range and 86 dB signal-to-noise ratio, are among the key features helping qualify the CPCI-16-4B CompactPCI card for use in frequency domain applications where spectral purity is critical. Each ADC also supports a single differential input and a fixed bipolar range of ±5V. The card also features a precision reference, dedicated DACs, and memory that are used collectively to perform automatic calibration. The CompactPCI data acquisition card can be programmed to operate in any one of four acquisition modes, including sequential and burst. Acquisition duration can be controlled by an event, time, or a fixed number of samples. The board comes with a Windows NT driver and independent set of C routines that can aid in developing applications.
