VXI Interface Board Meets Latest Specs

Oct. 1, 1998

The Model VXI-5524 register-based VXI interface board complies with the VXI specification for Extended Register-Based Devices. The thin board plugs directly into the VXI backplane and contains all of the VXIbus interface circuits for a register-based module. The board's small size enables it be used to fabricate B and C size modules. Its right-angle connector mates with the user's circuits and provides all the signals (digital I/O, VXIbus trigger, interrupt, clock and power) needed to fabricate most kinds of modules. All registers can be configured to personalize the interface as part of the end product, and the configuration is saved in EEPROM and automatically recalled at power turn-on.
