Single-Board Computers Stack Up In Embedded Applications

Sept. 1, 1998

Small size, low power consumption and high performance make the MICRO-Plus 188EB and 386EX 16- and 32-bit single-board computers suited for rugged application such as portable equipment, factory automation, or for control of a remote field site. The SBCs are expandable by means of two on-board RS-485 network connectors and stackable ABS frame, but don't require the use of expensive card cages.
