With the Juno reference system, part of Toshiba’s TX System RISC family, developers of high-end Windows CE designs have a development platform on which to build and adapt OEM products and software applications. The Juno system is based on the company’s TMPR3922 MIPS RISC processor. It includes all of the hardware and development support software needed to evaluate the processor’s performance and to quickly adapt user-specific hardware, develop new Windows CE applications and drivers, and create a complete Windows CE product. The Juno reference board is built with the high-performance 129/148-MHz TMPR3922 processor. It also includes the TC35143F analog front-end chip, which provides the interface for audio, touch screens and software modems, as well as the TC6358TB chip, which integrates USB, LCD/CRT, PCMCIA and SmartMedia peripheral functions.
