Connectors Link Wires To Boards

Designed to conserve pc board space, Series 4573 Wire-to-Board Connectors are well-suited for applications such as computer peripherals, printers, security systems, and cell phones. The connectors have a pin spacing of 1.25 mm and are made of a high temperature, UL94V-0 thermoplastic that can withstand IR or VPR solder methods. The contacts are made of phosphor-bronze, with the connectors offered with from 2 to 15 circuits. The connectors also offer a large soldering area for secure connections and their contacts accept 26 to 32 AWG wire. The housing has a polarized, three-wall construction for protection during mating, with a locking feature also provided for added security. The connectors come with through-hole (DIP) or surface-mount contacts and in straight or right-angle versions.
