Miniature Board-Mount Coded Switches Are Versatile

Sept. 1, 1999

Board-level applications are the target for the miniature Type C74 coded switches. The switches fit the standard 5-pin, 0.2" x 0.3" footprint and has a body with a 0.144" height off the board. The switch is also available in surface-mount and through-hole versions. Products requiring these very small, versatile switches include CNC controls, telecommunications, power control units, and sensors. Features include an excellent detent feel and high-temperature resistance. They also withstand board washing processes.
