Motor Controllers Offer Network Interface

The company's DigiDrive II family of modular motor controllers now include network-interface capability via an RS-485 port, making them remotely accessible for configuration and diagnostics. Built-in software is provided for both setup and operation.
Configuration can also be accomplished via on-board RS-232 and IrDA interfaces. Four additional signal-control ports are also provided that can be user-specified for other functions and a 10 mv/Hz buffered output port for speed control is also included.
The new modules are available for 115-V (SO1631XXX) and 230-V (SO1731XXX) operation. Sample quantity pricing starts at $190. Quantity pricing starts at $90 each/1000. The modules are sampling now with production quantities available in June of this year.
