The molded, solid-state MP1013 Series of snap-fit, Hall-effect proximity sensors has been designed to sense the proximity of a magnetic field when the face of the package is exposed to the south pole. The devices use a supply current of 12 mA and a voltage ranging from 4.5 to 24 Vdc. They also exhibit temperature stability over a -40°C to +125°C range. MP1013 sensors are equipped with a digital output, an open collector interface capable of sinking 25mA, and are suitable for interfacing with virtually any logic family. The series includes both switching and latching versions. All units are housed in a 0.55"L x 0.305"W x 0.125"H three-pin plastic package with 24 AWG leads that extend to 150 mm. Prices range from $3.19 to $3.82 in quantities of 1,000.
