PCB Blocks Offer Fast, Secure Connections

Oct. 1, 2000

Designed to provide rapid and reliable connections for two to 16 wires, the 8520 series spring-clamp printed circuit board (PCB) blocks feature a 3.5-mm contact pitch for dense wiring applications. The connectors are available as a one-piece solderable device in either horizontal or vertical wire entry configurations and as a pluggable connector with straight pin strips that mount to the PCB. These connectors are constructed from material with a UL 94 V-0 rating and accommodate wire sizes from 24 to 20 AWG. Each termination point features a built-in test contact point for more accurate test readings during analysis and troubleshooting.
