Portable Workstation Has Four-Slot VME Card-Cage

Built around a four-slot 6U VME card-cage, the Python "Tall" portable workstation allows the use of virtually any VMEbus CPU, including Pentium, PowerPC, SPARC, Alpha and PA-RISC CPUs. Approximately the size of a briefcase, the workstation is said to be rugged enough to endure any environment. Features include support for up to four peripheral devices, a high-resolution active-matrix LCD, ac/dc input and internal battery back up, a sealed keyboard, weatherproof three-button touchpad, and an external mouse port. An optional LCD coating for sunlight readability is also available.
