Compatible with PC, Macintosh or Sun systems, the Satellite series PCI expansion chassis include an internal monitoring system that continually measures power supply voltages, air temperature between each slot, and cooling fan operation. Supplied software allows users to easily monitor the system and the program is accessible through VB/C++ examples and a DLL file.
Available with and without temperature monitoring, these tabletop chassis provide eight PCI slots, access to system boards with the removal of only two screws, and front-access connections for field wiring. Other features include a 32-bit/33-MHz Intel 21150-AC chip. Price is $1,299 without temperature monitoring and $1,499 with temperature monitoring.
