Slim-Panel Computers Eye Industrial Applications

Claimed to be suitable for harsh factory environments, the SLIN family of slim-panel, industrial computers are available in display sizes ranging from 10.4" through 15.1" with a depth of approximately 3". Each computer features a Pentium 233 MHz processor, a 3.2-GB hard drive minimum, 32 MB of RAM upgradeable to 128 MB, and a resistive, anti-glare touch-screen. Other features include a 10/100 BaseT Ethernet port, serial, parallel, mouse and keyboard ports, support for disk-on-chip, and an external monitor port. All displays are active-matrix TFT with two CCFT tubes with an average life of 20,000 to 40,000 hours of continuous operation.
