The SPii PCI 32-bit motion controller supports up to eight axes of combined servo and stepper control and provides a continuous 10 kHz update for the profile generator and controller regardless of the number of axes. The board employs a 120 MHz RISC processor core, with peripherals integrated on chip. Other features include PIV control with second-order low pass filter, multi-axis synchronization, on-the-fly position and velocity change, and point-to-point positioning and jogging. With support for servo, stepper and encoder interfaces, the board includes C/C++/VB library support for Windows NT/2000 and windows tools for tuning and troubleshooting.
