Joining the company’s Targa Line of AdvancedTCA platforms, the ATS1936 10-Gb Ethernet switch board complies with PICMG 3.0 R2.0 ECN002 and PICMG 3.1 Option 1 and Option 9. The board includes three AMC sites for OA&M, firewall and encryption applications and, by separating the base and fabric networks, it provides a separate control plane and data plane. It delivers 1-Gb Ethernet switching on the 3.0 base fabric and 1-/10-Gb Ethernet switching on the 3.1 expansion fabric. Both networks support Layer 2 switching as well as Layer 3 routing and IPV6.
