Designed for deployment in unfriendly locales, the CR5 3U CompactPCI single-board computer enlists an Intel Core Duo LV processor operating at 1.66 GHz. A conduction-cooled option makes the board appropriate for military applications in harsh environments. It supports up to 2 GB of DDR2 SDRAM with ECC on a 400 MHz memory bus and features two Gigabit Ethernet ports, two SATA ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and eight GPIO ports. Also on board is an Intel 3100 ICH memory and I/O controller hub, which provides the two USB 2.0 ports, two SATA ports, and a standard serial port. An optional daughter card provides support for a CompactFlash module and SVGA graphics. Operating system support includes VxWorks, Linux, and Windows XP. GE FANUC EMBEDDED SYSTEMS, Huntsville, AL.
