Touted as the market's smallest pitch connector for positive-lock, wire-to-board crimp systems, the Pico-Clasp family offers space savings in applications such as flat-panel displays (FPDs), plasma display panel TVs, LCD TVs, and notebook PCs. The connector system features a 1-mm pitch and offers versions with an inner positive lock to provide latch protection and secure mating confirmation. These are available in six to 50 circuits. Also available are versions with outer positive locks, which support three to five circuits. The Pico-Clasp family comes in both single- and dual row-versions and includes features such as mating guides, solder tabs, and footprint compatibility with some third-party products.
