Delivering up to 1 kW of power from vehicle or other mobile or static dc-power sources, the D1000 modular dc/dc converter relies on the company's F501 full-brick converters. It offers both conventional step-down and step-up conversion via unique magnetics that combine all the necessary transformers and inductors on one core. One D1000 packs two F501 converters with connectors as required by the application. In addition, a custom boost converter is on board to provide input-voltage boost. Multiple components can run in N+1 redundant systems. Specs include an input-voltage range from 11V to 36V, outputs of 12V and 48V, up to 85% efficiency, and a package measuring 152 mm x 102 mm x 25mm. POWERSTAX NORTH AMERICA, West Boylston, MA.
