The M81500FP is a high-voltage, three-phase motor driver fabricated using a 500-V high-power Silicon-On-Insulator process. The single-chip, intelligent power module employs a compact SMD package to reduce the pc-board space required to 11.93 by 17.5 mm and to simplify the board production process. The module integrates a level-shift high-side driver, a low-side driver, bootstrap diodes, IGBTs, and freewheel diodes. Also included are protective functions for over-current, under-voltage, and thermal-shutdown conditions. The driver features a 500-V floating supply voltage. Typical applications include exhaust fans, dishwashers, air conditioners, small servo motors, and small motor controls. Samples of the M81500FP are available from stock to 12 weeks.
