Primped for control applications in challenging environments, i.e., unmanned vehicles, launch vehicles, and commercial helicopters and aircraft, the CRS-C2I-3CC1 and CRS-C3I-3CB1 two-slot and three-slot CompactPCI systems debut as cost-effective alternatives to in-house development. They also project a quicker path to a higher technology readiness level. Both systems employ Intel Core processors and are available in a wide range of application-specific configurations in convection- or base plate cooled 3U chassis. The CRS-C2I-3CC1 and CRS-C3I-3CB1 come with a single-board computer hosting 1 GB of RAM, and 4 GB of flash memory. They come standard with Linux, Windows, or VxWorks real-time operating system and I/O that includes Ethernet, serial, USB, CANbus, MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, and discrete I/O.
