Recent additions to the ML610Q4xx series low-power MCUs integrate an RC-type ADC that provides ±1.0°C-accurate temperature measurement using passive components only. The series offers versions with either flash memory or masked ROM and in-circuit programmable flash that allows on-chip, non-volatile data storage and the ability to make program changes in the field. Development kits, evaluation boards, debug hardware, and PC-based software development tools are available. ROHM SEMICONDUCTOR, San Diego, CA. (408) 436-1674.
